Terry F. Martell, Ph.D. is a member of the Index Committee.

Terrence F. Martell is the Director of the Weissman Center for International Business at Baruch College/CUNY where he is also the Saxe Distinguished Professor of Finance. As Director, he oversees a myriad of international programs and projects. He is also Chair of the Baruch College Faculty Senate. Prior to joining Baruch College, Terry was Senior Vice President of the Commodity Exchange in New York City. He is a public governor of the New York Board of Trade where he also is a member of the Executive Committee and the Audit Committee. He is a member of the Reuters/Jefferies CRB Index Oversight Committee. He also serves as a board member of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce.


Viyjanta J. Ruparel, Ph.D. is a Managing Member of Indus Advisors and a member of the Index Committee

Viyjanta is an adjunct professor at the Dept. of Economics and Finance at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, NJ. She teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Macro Economics, International Economics and Econometrics. Emerging markets is of particular interest to her. She follows macro economic developments in India and China closely.


B. Elango, Ph.D. is a member of the Index Committee

Dr. B. Elango is Research Director and Professor of Strategy at the College of Business, Illinois State University. He one of the leading scholars in international strategy and competition, with many of works focused in the emerging market context. He has published over 57 articles in top-tier journals, and his book Service Industry Databook is one of the unique data sources on service industries worldwide. He also serves as a Research Fellow at the Katie School of Insurance and Financial Services, and in editorial boards of five prestigious international journals. He has been recognized with several awards including Caterpillar Faculty Scholar, Country Insurance & Financial Services Faculty Scholar, and, Hobart and Marian Gardner Hinderliter Endowed Professorship.
